Portraits: The limits exist only in your mind

Updated: Feb 4, 2019

Today is the 22th December and I am so thrilled to start writing this post, since the last weeks was kind of difficult to priories my Blog. I feel now very connected to my creative process, since I started to paint my first portrait inspired by Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones).

The most interesting thing were the new techniques that I´ve been acquiring, with the diversity of paintings, that have inspired me in my artistic journey. From florals to landscapes. Including now portraits.

With each new theme that I bring into my canvas, I discover that things are not that difficult as they appear. It is really exiting!

Painting portraits was for me, at the beginning an impossible dream. I have always admired artists who are able to paint realistic human bodies or faces.

So the last months I thought…

How about to give it a try? It will be just as perfect as it can be. I will be without doubts very happy with it. It doesn´t have to be a master piece, but just my master piece.

The limits exist only in your mind...and the best thing ist that you can change it!

Think about this issue, is something there in your heart, that you ever wondered if you could do it? If your answer is yes, I encourage you to make your first step! It requires discipline, internal motivation, something that really tribes you and some practice. You will see the results at the end, but don´t forget to enjoy the process. I wish I could see my face meanwhile I am painting, because sometimes I can not believe what I am painting. I loved all the process thought it!

I would love to know what would you like to try for the first time?

I am curious :-)
